Heat Pump Water Heater

A heat pump water heater is an electrical appliance that produces hot water by using (recovered) heat from ventilation air or outside air. It works similarly to a heat pump, extracting heat from the ambient air for heating, but this appliance heats your tap water. So, no gas is used! You can use self-generated PV power for this. Unlike conventional water heaters, which use electricity or gas to heat tap water, a heat pump water heater consumes much less energy.

Heat pumps for central heating

Heat pumps from well-known brands like Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric, Giatsu, Haier, and Vaillant are available for underfloor heating or radiators.

If you want to convert your existing central heating system with radiators currently running on gas or oil to a heat pump, this is also possible!

For every kW of electricity used by the heat pump, you get 4 to 5 kW of heat back into your central heating system.

All these systems can be combined with solar panels for hot water, achieving even greater efficiency.
